Sutton Dynamo are a community team, based in Sutton-At-Hone. We've been providing football to children of all ages and abilities since 1979. We develop young players and help them to reach their full potential both on and off the pitch

Our Philosophy
With too much focus within grassroots football on just winning games and being Coach / Parent focussed, we at FC Sutton Dynamo’s aim to put the players first.
Our primary aims are:
• To be player focussed.
• Make football fun, safe and inclusive for everyone.
• Improve both player and person.
• Let players explore the game and experience the natural progressions within it.
Age category breakdowns
Foundation phase: Ages 5-11
This includes 5 aside, 7 aside and 9 aside football
Primary focus here is to let players explore the game by playing various positions, if they feel comfortable. And offering equal playing time ( along individual management team principles).
Youth development phase: Ages 12-16
Including 9 aside and 11 aside football
Games at 9 aside will still follow Foundation phase principles but as players move into 11 aside games players will begin to learn a more competitive approach to football. From under 13’s, coaching will include how to try and win games, compete , learn tactics , and individual responsibilities.
Professional development phase: 17-21
This is where we coach to progress players into the adult game. Focus as in all of the phases will be to promote enjoyment of the game but this is where teams will be maximising players strengths and aiming to compete and get game results.
The Players
We aim to help players be;
• Confident, Creative, Technical, Tactical and Problem solver’s on the pitch.
• Polite, Engaging, Coachable and Respectful players on and off the pitch.
All we ask is that players come with a good attitude to learn and play, then we’ll do our best to promote their learning and enjoyment of the game.
